Altena Machine Builders, Inc. manufactures and sells our own highly successful line of versatile heat transfer application machinery to meet the high production demands of the “Tag Less and Tag Free” label industry. All our machines and equipment are fabricated in the USA, at our facility, and are designed specifically for high production manufacturing environments. These machines are operator friendly and provide unmatched repeatable, consistent and precise label applications with very little maintenance.
Our standard ADCM Series and ARM Series machine models are available and can ship from our facility to points all over the world in seven (7) days or less!
Custom units and equipment can also be fabricated to meet a customer’s individual production requirements.
What is "Tag-free" or "Tag-less" Technology?
The days of the sewn in garment tag are numbered. Apparel companies, T-Shirt, Underwear and Sportswear makers are gradually adopting a new technology: "Tag-less" labels using a heat-transfer process in place of sewn in labels. This “Tag-less” technology produces products which are extremely durable while being more comfortable than those bearing woven labels.
Many leading apparel and sportswear manufacturers, including Under Armour®, have embraced the "Tag-less" principle for several years. Many of the manufacturers have begun "Tag-less" programs, for their garments, with in the last 18 months.
